Best Photo Editor is a must need for a perfect final touch in your Pictures.
But there are too many Android Photo Editing Apps on the Play Store which are fake or just useless.
So, I personally tested tons of Photo editors on my Android Phone.
And Here are the Best Photo Editor For Android which will instantly attract you.
And I Promise you that you will never get confused with:
“Which is the Best Photo Editor for Android?”
Here is the complete explanation of each of the Best Photo editor featured in the Infographic according to my Personal use. (Remaining Two Bonus Apps are in the End.)
BeautyPlus is best in business when it comes to dedicated Selfie Editor for Android.
BeautyPlus has got some super amazing filters and face tools which will definitely beautify your Selfies.
This is one of my Personal Favourite Best Photo editor and that is the reason why I also featured it in my Best Android Camera Post.
I think with constant updates they are ruining the arrangement of filters.
With nearly every update they add a new filter which is somewhat a good thing but in my opinion, but also it is increasing the complexity of UI.
That’s all about Personal Experience. (That’s why you may disagree with my above statement).
You can also do all of that basic editing stuff such as Highlights, Shadows, Temperature, Contrast etc.
Unique Features of BeautyPlus
Face Retouch: BeautyPlus has the ability to hide your blackheads and Acne, brighten your eyes, adjust your skin tone as well as smoothen your skin.
Wait, that’s just the starter.
It has got height adjustment, Body slimming, Nose shaping, Eye brightening as well as resizing and Teeth whitening covered too which really make it the best photo editor for Android.
Filters: BeautyPlus has beautifully made Selfie Filters which are totally Dope!
If you are a selfie lover (I used to be😅) then you have got a perfect Partner.
I don’t know why but I Loved those days when BeatyPlus had only minimal amount of Filters.
Those were like Handpicked from a chunk of Garbage.
I am not saying that the new additions are not that great.
Some of them are even better than the Old Ones.
I think it takes too much time in selecting the Suitable Filter from the Dozen Filters available in the app.
Camera 360 can serve you as a selfie editor and also for some nice editing.
It is more than just a Simple Selfie Editor.
For some People, Camera 360 may also work as full-time Editor.
Its filters are basically made for selfies but some of them can be used for Professional Pics.
It has also got Portrait Editing which has the same features as that of BeautPlus.(Although I think that the execution is better in BeautyPlus)
Here is the Wow Factor:
It has got some capabilities to do Color Correction.
Unique Features of Camera 360
Color Correction: In Camera 360, you can adjust Hue, Brightness, and Saturation of the following colors:
Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Aqua, Blue, Purple, Magenta.
This only adjusts existing colors.
Filters: While most Filters are Selfie Centric,
You can still get some Pro Photos from Camera 360.
It has got a wide range of Filters.
It doesn’t end here:
Separate filters are available for your selfies and Portraits which are only meant to enhance your facial beauty.
Portrait Section: The Portrait section has got some awesome features.
It covers acne removal, skin smoothening, Eye brightening and enlargement, Nose adjustment and Eyebag adjustor.
And as I mentioned above, you will get separate filters for your Portraits.
Photo Adjustments: In Camera 360 you are also getting the capabilities to adjust Layers, Temperature, Tone, Vibrance, Saturation, Highlights, Shadows, Vignette, Center Light, Brightness, and Contrast.
Chances are that you already know about Adobe and its Powerful Editing Software Photoshop.
Now Adobe has entered the Android sector.
Adobe family has got one of the Best Photo Editor, i.e. Lightroom.
Lightroom has got some awesome Color Grading Capabilities.
Its UI is not that much easy to understand.
Also handling such a complex editor is not easy for a beginner.
But if you will spend some time with the App, You are going to become a fan of it.
Unique Features of Lightroom
Color Grading: The only and only specialty of Lightroom Photo Editor which attracts me is that it has vast options for Color Grading.
You can set Highlights, Shadows, Whites, Blacks and you can even Adjust the Photo curve and Split tone.
The Color Adjustment tool allows you to refine the hue, saturation, and luminance of specific color channels.
The Best Part:
The Targeted Adjustment tool adjusts the specific color(s) sampled from an area where you have tapped, enabling you to adjust the hue, saturation, or luminance for the colors directly under your finger.
Pro Tip: These are somewhat complicated things which are not easy to understand in a single try. It will take time to develop a better understanding.
If you are not going to do any Color Grading then don’t download Lightroom. Check out the other Photo Editing Apps Listed below.
The most lovable feature about Polarr is its Professional filters which makes it different from other Photo Editors out there.
In other words,
If you have got Polarr’s filters then you covered at least some aspects of color grading on your Photo.
The list of feature doesn’t end here.
It provides super in-depth features for Image Toning, Details, Color Correction and much more.
Here is the Bonus
Polarr also has HSL, and Face tools which make it the Best Photo Editor out there.
But the app may lag sometimes.
Unique features of Polarr
Filters: Polarr’s filters are the center of attention for the app.
The important thing to realize is:
These are not your usual selfie filters which will enhance your beauty.
These are Filters which will give your Photos an instant professional look.
HSL : Polarr also provides separate panel for HSL.
Now I don’t want to bore you by telling its Full form.
Let’s dive into its potential:
HSL allows you to control different colors independently.
HSL adjustments will enable you to brighten or emphasize specific saturation, and control the hue of only certain colors.
This can take your Photo to a whole new level.
HSL may not be easy for beginners.
You can master it by using it for some time but it will be little complicated to use for beginners.
When it comes to Professional Editing in Android, Snapseed is a name which you can’t ignore.
It is not meant to be your selfie companion, although it has a feature called Portrait in which you can beautify your Face and Eyes.
In my opinion, it is purely developed to do Manual Professional Level Editing on our Android Phone.
Want to know the Best Part?
It is developed by Google, which means that it is extremely stable to use it on your Android Device.
It has not that much attractive presets or filters but the highlight of Snapseed is its Manual Editing capabilities.
You can Fully Tune your Image which even includes setting Ambiance, Highlights, Shadows, Saturation, Warmth in addition to Brightness and Contrast.
Wanna know the Icing on the cake?
You can do all this Selectively.
What I mean by this is that you can use this feature to choose a particular point in an image to enhance it and Snapseed will automatically identify similar parts in the Image and they will automatically get enhanced.
The UI seems to be Easy to use, at least to me it seems to be ;-). (It may be a little bit complicated for a Beginner)
Unique Features of Snapseed
HDR-Scape: In my Opinion, HDR is the best feature in to enhance your Outdoor Click.
“The HDR Scape filter opens up the shadows while it simultaneously pulls out detail in the highlights, giving the overall effect of a dream-like, evenly-exposed image full of texture and life.”– Google
It can also ruin your picture if used incorrectly.
It may be suitable for some photos but for some images, it may prove to be a disaster.
So, try it and if it works for your Picture then that’s “Awesome“.
Selective: This is one of the best features of Snapseed where you can tune your Image selectively.
It means that when you will select a particular spot in a photo and enhance it, the other similar portion within the radius of the point will automatically get Enhanced.
Moreover, you can manually set the radius of the Point to suit your needs.
Image Tuning: You can manually Adjust the Brightness, Contrast, Saturation, Ambiance, Highlights, Shadows and Warmth of your Photo.
Image tuning is must for a little bit of color correction in the Photo.
Curves: If you are familiar with curves, then Photoshop is not the only one to provide the feature.
Snapseed also has Curves by which, you can adjust points throughout an image’s tonal range.
You can tweak Highlights, shadows, and Midtone as per as your choice.
However, it’s not for Everyone.
The Person with a little experience in photography will encounter no problem in using it.
If you spend a little time using curves, you can become a perfectionist in it.
Double Exposure: You can create awesome mirror images (Ghost images) by this Awesome Feature.
Double Exposure is a photographic technique that mainly involves combining two exposures to create a single image.
With Snapseed you can create some pretty double exposure images.
Other than this Snapseed has features like Perspective, Expand, Brush, Healing, Glamour glow, Tonal Contrast, Details, Grainy Film, Retrolux, Noir and some others which you can check in the App description.
MIX Photo Editor is all about rich quality filters and Advanced image editing tools.
It Offers 130 free, high-quality filters covering a variety of styles including Professional film, Instant film, selfie, LOMO and many more.
Want to know the best Part?
MIX allows you to edit photos using the various editing tools and to save your edits as personalized filters.
This may prove to be a Big time saver sometimes.
It has quality image editing tools like Curve, HSL, Split toning and also covers all basic stuff.
It also got some Light leaks and Lens Flares.
Well, it may be your best photo editor if you want an editor with best Filters and Color Grading Capabilities.
Unique Features of MIX
Filters: MIX focuses on quality Filters which are hard to find anywhere else.
With more than 130 Filters, it is an App which definitely needs your eye attention.
You will love the filters once you try them.
Split Toning: Split toning is the process of adding different colors to the shadows and the highlights of an image.
It can be used to create an emotional feel in the Photo.
You will get to know more about it as you use it.
Toolwiz Photos is the Beast of all Photo Editors providing 200+ powerful tools for Free.
Trust me, This freeware is trying to offer a whole Professional Editing toolkit on your Android Phone.
Its an All in One Photo Editor with huge potential.
The only let down is:
It’s a little bit slow sometimes(I feel this).
Also, such a vast number of options available may also Confuse you.
If I decide to write about all the tools available in Toolwiz Photo Editor then the blog is going to be too much long and Probably Boring.
But I will try my best to cover the Main Features of the Picture Editor.
Here’s the Bonus:
You can download anything from 150+ PIP frames, 400+ layouts, 2000+ Stickers, 200+ texture, 200+ Flare, 100+ Light Leak, 200+ text fonts for free.

You can set all this for free.
HDR: The HDR section of the app is quite impressive.
It has two section HDR and Smart HDR.
Both have some amount of options to enhance your Image.
But my personal favorite ones are the 4 options available under the “HDR”.
Smart HDR can be good at sometimes but it doesn’t attract me that much.
Toolwiz also has PIP, Double Exposure(I explained this in Snapseed section), Flare, Square fit and much more which make it the Best Photo Editor.
As I said earlier guys, if I continue to talk about the features of the app, then the Post will go long and long.
However, if you want more information about its features,
Then you can read more about ToolWiz at Google Play Store.
Here are the two Bonus Apps:
Afterfocus is one of the best apps when it comes to Background Blur.
In my experience, it understands tricky edges but it may fail sometime in more complex edges.
Here’s where manual mode comes into play.
In manual mode, you manually select the edges of the subject to distinguish it from the background.
I know it is quite tedious work, but it will yield you a perfect bokhe.
It has also got some Filters in which 2-3 filters are quite impressive.
This app has potential to make your Android Photo look like DSLR Photo.
Unique Features of Afterfocus
Smart Mode: Afterfocus has one of the best Smart Mode where they automatically understand the subject and Background and apply depth of field accordingly.
Firstly you have to outline the subject and distinguish the background. (You don’t need to join edge to edge, Afterfocus can automatically understand it).
Now you are ready to go:
You can select the type of blur you want.
Blur Modes: Afterfocus gives you Lens Blur, Zoom Blur, Motion blur, and Bokeh mode.
You can even select the Aperture for background light.
Now the type of blur you are going to use depends on the Photo.
Porta is a unique Photo Editor which is simple and to the Point.
Other than Filters, Portra doesn’t have a single Photo Editing Feature.
The thing which makes it unique is its Amazing Watercolor effect Giving Filters.
Till now, I haven’t found any app which has a collection of these type of Lovely watercolor effect Filters.
You can use it to add a fun factor to your Photos.
This can prove to be a great add-on for your Android Phone.
It requires an internet connection to work.
Unique Features of Portra
Filters: Porta has got about 19 Filters which may seem less in number but are worth a try.
Here’s the deal:
These filter may not look good in some Pictures.
But believe me, if these are used in the right type of image then it may prove to be icing on the cake.
Few lines by Portra :
“We have Watercolor that spreads out beautiful colors to detailed sketches, perfect oil painting, and trendy illustrations! “
The conclusion is already clear from the Infographic.
If you want a selfie editor, then you should go for either BeautyPlus or Camera 360.
If you want an editor with color grading capabilities, then Lightroom or Polarr should be your choice
If you want a Manual Professional Editor, then you should go for either Snapseed or MIX.
